RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKE
ELSINORE, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING
EXECUTION OF MASTER AGREEMENT NO. 08 -5074 WITH THE
STATE OF CLAIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION
ADMINISTERING AGENCY -STATE AGREEMENT FOR FEDERAL -AID
PROJECTS AND PROGRAM SUPPLEMENT NO. N006 FOR
TEMESCAL CANYON BRIDGE PROJECT
WHEREAS, the Legislature of the State of California has enacted legislation
whereby certain Federal Funds (STP) may be made available for use on local public
agency transportation facilities; and
WHEREAS, before Federal -Aid will be made available for a specific STP program
project, the local public agency (Administering Agency) and State are required to enter into
an agreement relative to prosecution of said project and maintenance of the completed
facility.
WHEREAS, the City has received authorization for Federal -Aid in the sum of
$761,358.00 for the replacement of Temescal Canyon Bridge; and
WHEREAS, Caltrans is the State of California agency responsible for administration
of the Federal -Aid funds; and
WHEREAS, Caltrans has provided to the City for approval and execution a "Master
Agreement Administering Agency -Sate Agreement for Federal -Aid Projects ", revised to
incorporate the various changes in regulations and policies; and
WHEREAS, Caltrans has provided to the City for approval and execution Program
Supplement Agreement No. N006 providing for disbursement of Federal -Aid funding for the
Temescal Canyon Bridge Project.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lake Elsinore, California,
does hereby resolve as follow:
SECTION 1. That it hereby approves the revised "Master Agreement Administering
Agency -Sate Agreement for Federal -Aid Projects' and 'Program Supplement No. N006"
SECTION 2. Authorizes the City Manager to sign the "Master Agreement
Administering Agency -Sate Agreement for Federal -Aid Projects' and "Program
Supplement No. N0006" and all subsequent project specific Program Supplements to said
Agreement; and

SECTION 3. Authorize the City Clerk to return the signed agreement, in duplicate, to
Caltrans Office of Local Programs for execution.
SECTION 4. This Resolution shall take effect from and after the date of its passage
and adoption.
