Agency Counsel Leibold advised the Agency Members that this is a
housekeeping item that involves certain findings by the Redevelopment Agency
in connection with its Low and Moderate Income Housing Fund. Essentially the
Agency is finding that it has established a Low and Moderate Income Housing
Fund; that the Agency routinely deposits, as required by law, not less than 20%
of the Agency's total increment into the Housing Fund; that the Agency expends
those monies solely for purposes of increasing, improving and preserving the
community's supply of affordable housing; that interest income earned on the
account accrues to the Low and Moderate Income Housing Fund; and that the
Agency's expenditures for planning and administrative costs are necessary
toward the goals of affordable housing.
Member Melendez moved to adopt Resolution No. 08-06; seconded by Member
Bhutta. The motion unanimously carried by the following vote: The motion
unanimously carried by the following vote: AYES: Chairman Buckley, Vice-
