CALL TO ORDER - 6:10 P.M.
Mayor Tisdale called the meeting to order at 6:10 p.m.
PLEADGE OF ALLEGIANCE
Mayor Tisdale led the pledge of allegiance.
ROLL CALL
PRESENT: Mayor Tisdale
Mayor Pro Tern Hickman
Council Member Magee
Council Member -Elect Johnson
Council Member -Elect Manos
ABSENT: Council Member Melendez
Council Member Weber
Also present: City Manager Yates, City Attorney Leibold and City Clerk Bloom. City Clerk
Bloom announced that Melissa Melendez was sworn into office for the 67 Assembly
District on Monday, December 3, 2012.
PUBLIC COMMENTS
Jeanie Corral requested the Council to consider taking over the Unity in the Community
Parade.
BUSINESS ITEM
Resolution Certifying the City of Lake Elsinore's General Municipal Election Results of
November 6 2012
Recommendation: It is recommended that the City Council approve and adopt
Resolution No. 2012 -054 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LAKE ELSINORE, CALIFORNIA, RECITING THE FACTS OF THE GENERAL
MUNICIPAL ELECTION HELD ON NOVEMBER 6, 2012, AND DECLARING THE
RESULTS AND SUCH OTHER MATTERS AS MAY BE PROVIDED BY LAW.
City Clerk Bloom presented the staff report and resolution adopting the results and
declaring certified the Municipal General Election of November 6, 2012.
Motion by Mayor Pro Tern Hickman, seconded by Council Member Magee to approve and
adopt Resolution No. 2012 -054 passed by unanimous vote.

OATH OF OFFICE
City Clerk Bloom presented the Certificate of Election and administered the Oath of Office
to Alan Peters Baldwin as newly re- elected City Treasurer for a four year term.
City Clerk Bloom presented the Certificates of Election and administered the Oaths of
Office to Robert Magee, Steve Manos and Natasha Johnson as newly elected members of
the City Council. All three Council members assumed their respective seats on the dais.
Council Member Johnson thanked everyone and stated that she is honored to serve and is
ready to work.
Council Member Manos thanked everyone that helped make this happen and that he
looked forward to working with the rest of the Council to make Lake Elsinore a premiere
city.
Council Member Magee stated that he is thrilled to have been re- elected, thanked his wife
for all her support and announced that better days are ahead for all.
CITY MANAGER COMMENTS
City Manager Yates said that he feels honored and privileged to be here in Lake Elsinore
and wished everyone safe holidays.
CITY ATTORNEY COMMENTS
City Attorney Leibold congratulated the newly elected Council Members, welcomed new
City Manager Yates and wished everyone happy holidays and new year.
CITY COUNCIL COMMENTS
Mayor Pro Tern Hickman congratulated the new members of the City Council and
welcomed a new start for the City in the right direction. He wished everyone happy
holidays.
Mayor Tisdale stated that the people have spoken which he believes is the right direction
for the City. He welcomed the new City Manager and thanked the Council and Staff. He
said he is excited with the prospects of the New Year, Mayor Tisdale adjourned the
Special meeting at 6:25 p.m.
