RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LAKE ELSINORE, CALIFORNIA CONFIRMING THE
APPOINTMENT OF GRANT YATES AS CITY MANAGER
AND APPROVING AN EMPLOYMENT AGREEMENT.
WHEREAS, Chapter 2.04 of the Lake Elsinore Municipal Code provides that the
City Manager shall be appointed by the City Council and shall hold office for and during
the pleasure of the City Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKE ELSINORE
DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City Council hereby confirms the appointment of Grant Yates
as City Manager, effective November 17, 2012, at such compensation and expense
allowance as provided in the Employment Agreement referenced in Section 2 herein.
SECTION 2. The City Council hereby approves that certain Employment
Agreement dated as of November 13, 2012 by and between Grant Yates and the City of
Lake Elsinore. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute the Employment Agreement
in the form presented hereto, with such minor revisions as may be approved by the City
Attorney.
SECTION 3. This Resolution shall take effect from and after the date of its
passage and adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 13th day of November 13, 2012.
