NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Planning Commission of the City of Lake
Elsinore, California, will hold a public hearing on September 4, 2012, at 6:00 p.m., or as
soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, at the Lake Elsinore Cultural Center, 183
North Main Street, Lake Elsinore, California, 92530, to consider and make a
recommendation to the City Council of the City of Lake Elsinore regarding the following
item:
ZONE CODE AMENDMENT NO. 2012 -02 — A PROPOSED
AMENDMENT OF CHAPTER 17.196 (SIGNS — ADVERTISING
STRUCTURES) OF THE CITY OF LAKE ELSINORE MUNICIPAL CODE
AMENDING SECTION 17.196.100 TO PERMIT OTHERWISE
PROHIBITED SIGNS WHEN SPECIFICALLY ALLOWED BY A
DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT; AND TO AMEND SECTIONS
17.196.020 (DEFINITIONS), 17.196.100 (PROHIBITED SIGNS),
17.196.110 (ADVERTISING ON PUBLIC PROPERTY), AND 17.196.160
(TEMPORARY SIGNS) AND ADD SECTION 17.196.165 (TEMPORARY
STREET BANNERS, AND LIGHT POLE BANNERS AND FLAGS) TO
ADD PROVISIONS PERMITTING STREET BANNERS, LIGHT POLE
BANNERS AND FLAGS AS TEMPORARY SIGNS.
ALL INTERESTED PERSONS are hereby invited to attend this public hearing to
present written information, express opinions or otherwise present evidence in the
above matter. If you wish to legally challenge any action taken by the City with regard
to the project identified herein, you may be limited to raising only those issues you or
someone else identified at the above - referenced public hearing or in written
correspondence delivered to the City prior to or at the public hearing.

agenda materials will be available for review at City Hall the Friday before the public
hearing.
