On March 13, 2012, the Cit Council appointed Pat Kilro Director of Lake, Parks and
Recreation to serve as Interim Cit Mana until the re Cit Council meetin of
March 27, 2012.
At the re Cit Council meetin of March 27, the Council unanimousl approved to
continue Mr. Kilro appointment as Interim Cit Mana until the re Cit Council
meetin of April 24, 2012. Also at the March 27th meetin Ma Pro Tern Hickman
and Council Member Ma were appointed b the Cit Council to serve as a sub-
committee to interview applicants for the position of Interim Cit Mana and to brin
back two or three q ualified applicants to the Cit Council for consideration for
appointment as Interim Cit Mana
Ma Pro Tern Hickman and Council Member Ma conducted interviews of the
applicants. The sub-committee's recommended finalists are scheduled to be
interviewed b the Cit Council in closed session on April 24, 2012 as allowed under the
Brown Act (Government section 54957.)
Recommendation
1 With respect to the selection of Interim Cit Mana the followin procedure is
recommended:
A. Ma Tisdale opens the nominations for the position of Interim Cit
Mana Once all nominations are received, Ma Tisdale will
close the nominations and re the Cit Clerk to conduct a roll
call vote; and
B. Roll call vote is taken b the Cit Clerk.

2. Direct the Cit Attorne to prepare a services contract with the appointed Interim
Cit Mana on such terms as directed b the Cit Council and authorize the
Ma to execute the A consistent with the terms and in such format as
approved b the Cit Attorne
3. To the extent that the appointment of the selected candidate does not take effect
immediatel reappoint Pat Kilro to continue to serve as Interim Cit Mana
until the effective start date of the selected candidate.
