My name is Don Porter, a retired Army Sergeant Major
and I live at 10 Via del Lago, directly across the
street from Doug Pinnow in Tuscany Hills Estates.
I was here in March at the initial hearing for this
applicant request and approval. I really didn't have
anything to say since I was under the impressing that
Mr. Pinnow request would be approval without any
problems. After all, the city had approved his request
to spilt his property and add 2 separate pads.
However, by the time I left the hearing, I had plenty
to say. And this is my first opportunity to go on
record.
Of all of my years of attending a lot of hearing I've
never witnessed a brutal character assassination as was
dished out at your March 1 hearing. I was shocked
because I knew of all of the facts relating to the de-
annexation of the Tuscany Hills Estates. The facts as
stated by one your commissioners was wrong.
I hope that the de- annexation of Tuscany Hills Estates
is off the table and that we focus of the Tuscany Hills
Specific Plan for this approval.
No citizen who has followed all of the rules to build
and or improve his property and this city should be
subject to such attack.
I'd also would like to say that since I live directly
across the street from the 2 new parcels that Mr.
Pinnow wants to develop, I can attest to the fact that
he was created 2 new building lots that have
exceptional views and that these lots will fit well
within the character of the Tuscany Hills Estates.
I encouraging you to approve his request for the 3 lot
spilt.
