NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Lake Elsinore,
California, will hold a public hearing on December 9, 2008, at 7:00 p.m., or as soon
thereafter as the matter may be heard, at the Lake Elsinore Cultural Center, 183 North
Main Street, Lake Elsinore, California, 92530, to consider the following item:
ADOPTION OF A RESOLUTION OF NECESSITY FOR THE ACQUISITION OF
A 1,950 SQUARE FOOT PORTION OF A PARCEL COMMONLY
IDENTIFIABLE AS ASSESSOR'S PARCEL NUMBER 379 -403 -018
AS AN OWNER OF THE ABOVE - REFERENCED PROPERTY you have a right
pursuant to State Law to appear and be heard on the following matters: (1) the public
interest and necessity that require the project, (2) whether the project is planned or
located in the manner that will be most compatible with the greatest public good and
least private injury, and (3) whether the property sought to be acquired is necessary for
the project. If you wish to appear and be heard on the foregoing matters, you must file
a written request to appear and be heard within fifteen (15) days after this Notice was
mailed. You may submit your written request to the City Clerk either at the City Clerk's
office, which is located at City Hall at 130 S. Main Street, Lake Elsinore, CA 92530 or at
the Cultural Center on December 9 prior to the commencement of the City Council
meeting. Failure to timely file a written request to appear and be heard with the City
Clerk will result in you waiving your right to appear at the public hearing on December 9
and be heard by the City Council.
ALL OTHER INTERESTED PERSONS are hereby invited to attend this public
hearing to present written information, express opinions or otherwise present evidence
in the above matter. If you wish to legally challenge any action taken by the City with
regard to the project identified herein, you may be limited to raising only those issues
you or someone else identified at the above - referenced public hearing or in written
correspondence delivered to the City prior to or at the public hearing.
FURTHER INFORMATION on this item may be obtained by contacting Alisha
Winterswyk at (949) 457 -6319. All agenda materials will be available for review in the
City Clerk's office at City Hall the Friday before the public hearing.
