DREAM EXTREME
REPORT TO CITY COUNCIL
TO: HONORABLE MAYOR
AND MEMBERS OF THE CITY COUNCIL
FROM: ROBERT A. BRADY
CITY MANAGER
DATE: JANUARY 27, 2008
SUBJECT: APPOINTMENT TO THE WESTERN RIVERSIDE COUNCIL OF
GOVERNMENTS TUMF ZONE COMMITTEE
BACKGROUND
At the December 23 City Council Meeting, the Council approved appointments to the
various agencies and boards throughout the City and County. At that time, staff was
unaware of the TUMF Zone Committee, which is under the Western Riverside Council
of Governments.
DISCUSSION
Staff received a request from the Western Riverside Council of Governments executive
office asking who the Mayor appointed to the TUMF Zone Committee, indicating that
Robert Schiffner was the delegate and Robert Magee the alternate. This matter was
brought to the attention of the Mayor and staff confirmed the TUMF Zone Committee
only meets once or twice a year as noticed to approve the TIPS.
Mayor Magee indicated his desire to remain on the Committee as the Delegate and
appointed Councilman Buckley as the Alternate since he is currently the City's Delegate
to the Western Riverside Council of Governments.
FISCAL IMPACT
There is no fiscal impact to the City.
